If you are looking for a wide variety of entertainment, EPCOT is the perfect place for you! Not only will you find classic theme park rides, you’ll find music, shows, education, technology, and culinary arts, just to name a few. With the number of activities available throughout EPCOT, it’s important to narrow down the best use of your time. Luckily, we have you covered! Here are 13 EPCOT must dos that you don’t want to skip during your next Disney World vacation.

EPCOT Overview
In 1982, EPCOT opened its gates as the second theme park in Walt Disney World. Walt Disney has a vision of making EPCOT an actual city, introducing urban planning, cutting-edge technology, and residential districts. But, while the entirety of his vision did not come true, Disney Imagineers have stayed true to Walt’s wishes in many aspects.
While you can’t live at EPCOT, the park has integrated basic theme park entertainment, like attractions, shows, and dining, with education, technology, and a glimpse into the diversity of the world around us. There is so much to see and do during your time at EPCOT, but are some things better than others? Let’s dive into our EPCOT must dos!

EPCOT Must Dos: Attractions
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the newest ride at EPCOT and is still one of the most popular rides in the park. It is the first backward-launch coaster in Walt Disney World and one of the largest indoor coasters in the world! And, you’ll be taking on both these thrills with your favorite Guardians of the Galaxy characters on an epic journey through space.
Just keep in mind that this ride does have a 42-inch height requirement and can be quite intense if you tend to get motion sickness easily.

Frozen Ever After
If you have a Frozen fan in your party, you won’t want to miss this! Frozen Ever After is located in the Norway Pavilion and takes you on a slow boat ride (with a few drops) through Arendelle. Along the way you’ll see Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, and—of course—Olaf.
This dark boat ride has no height requirement, meaning the whole family can join!

Living with the Land
Living with the Land is one of the original rides from EPCOT’s opening day. This 15-minute boat ride takes guests through the evolution of land, farming, agriculture, and, eventually, a greenhouse tour.
Not only can you get a behind-the-scenes look at how food and crops can be sustainably produced, but the greenhouses throughout Living with the Land produce food the guests eat at EPCOT’s restaurants and festivals!

It’s rare for the line to be longer than 20 minutes for this ride, and it’s worth the wait for an A/C break and a fun twist on agriculture education. Living with the Land also gets a holiday overlay during the holiday season that you won’t want to miss.
There is no height requirement for this ride.
Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana
One of the newest attractions to join EPCOT is Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana! While Journey of Water isn’t a traditional attraction, where you board a ride vehicle, it’s still one of the most unique and fun things to do in the park — especially if you’re traveling with little ones.
Drawing inspiration from Disney’s Moana, this self-guided walking trail takes you through the different water cycles with an interactive twist! Kids and adults alike can participate in activities executing a particular part of the water cycle and even choose a wet or dry path through the trail for the young ones who want to enjoy the splash pad!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Scale down to rat size and travel through the kitchen on a 4D culinary adventure with Chef Remy! This ride with no height requirement features the same trackless ride system that Rise of the Resistance does in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The ride is located at the back of the France Pavilion and transports you through an adventure of sights, scents, and sounds as you race through Gusteau’s from the Ratatouille movie. This ride sometimes racks up a long wait time, so grabbing a Lightning Lane for Remy’s may be a good idea if you don’t want to wait. But if you prefer not to pay to skip the line, you’ll certainly be wow-ed by the queue and may not even notice the long wait!

EPCOT Must Dos: Entertainment
JAMMitors
Over in World Celebration, don’t miss out on the JAMMitors! These drummers use unique instruments commonly found in clean-up crews to make music during short performances throughout the day. This 10-minute show is typically played every hour for most of the day, but check your My Disney Experience app for show times and the exact location.
World Showcase Entertainment
The World Showcase provides more than just shops and dining. While you should certainly explore these around the world, don’t skip out on the shows featured in each country as well.
Mariachi bands play in Mexico, bands perform in both the Canadian and United Kingdom pavilions, there’s a mime show in France, traditional Japanese drummers in Japan, and so much more! These shows provide high-quality entertainment and an insight into a country’s culture you may not see anywhere else in the United States.

Club Cool
Right next to the Creations Shop (EPCOT’s largest merchandise location) is Club Cool. Sponsored by Coca-Cola, Club Cool brings a unique and FREE entertainment option for guests of all ages! Inside, you can sample eight unique soda products from countries worldwide, taking your taste buds on a wild journey.
Ranging from bitter to sweet, these soda fountains are sure to spark conversation for the rest of the day – you’ll either love them or hate them!
EPCOT Must Dos: Snacks
School Bread
Head to Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion for a unique Norweigan pastry that has everyone talking — the School Bread! This sweet roll filled with custard is rolled in coconut flakes and is one of the most popular snacks within EPCOT.
Those looking for an alcoholic pairing can try it with the Viking Coffee. The coffee comes frozen or hot and features Baileys Irish Cream and Kamora Coffee Liqueur. There’s also a non-alcoholic version available.
Anything From Les Halles Pâtisserie
We’re not talking about just one snack here, we’re talking about them all! Because, truly, you can’t go wrong with anything from this French bakery! Les Halles Patisserie is located in the back of the France Pavilion and offers a variety of sandwiches, soups, specialty pastries, baked goods, desserts, coffees, and beverages to choose from.

The fresh-from-the-oven French baguette is $4 and easily sharable, making it one of the most affordable snacks in EPCOT. In fact, no food item is over $13 on this menu, making the bakery one of the cheapest dining options in the entire park!
Our go-tos are the baguette, croissant jamon fromage, and the creme brulee.
Dos Hombres Avocado Margarita
Inside the Mexico Pavillon is La Cava del Tequila. Though you can’t go wrong with any of the margaritas offered here or the over 200 tequilas, the Avocado Margarita is one of the most unique and popular drinks on the menu.
This margarita features Dos Hombres mezcal, melon-orange liqueur, fresh avocado, lime juice, and a hibiscus salt rim. It’s a unique mix that is not quite frozen yet not entirely on the rocks—it’s highly refreshing on a hot summer day!
KakiGori
In the Japan Pavillion you’ll find Kabuki Cafe. Kabuki Cafe serves a few varieties of sushi but we recommend visiting to try the KakiGori. KakiGori is a version of Japanese shaved ice, available in multiple flavors such as melon, strawberry, cherry, tangerine, blue raspberry, or rainbow.
These shaved ice desserts are easily sharable but can get messy. Make sure to have people helping you on a hot summer day so it doesn’t melt all over your hands!

German Pretzel
Authentic German pretzels are available at two locations in the Germany Pavillion. One is a stand-alone cart near the water side of the walkway and the other is at Sommerfest, a quick service restaurant in Germany that serves pretzels and bratwursts.
The pretzel is exactly as advertised — jumbo! It’s the perfect option for sharing and easy to eat on the go. Plus, if you’re “Drinking Around the World”, this is a must-stop snack for a quick carbohydrate refresh.
So, if you are in EPCOT and feel the urge for a pretzel, please do us all a favor and skip the dry Mickey pretzel! Instead, head to Germany for a pretzel your family will really enjoy.
