Best EPCOT Snacks That Are Available Year-Round

Best Disney World Snacks

EPCOT is a celebration of global culture and innovation, and in our humble opinion, the best part of that cultural innovation comes in the form of delicious international snacks! From Food & Wine to Flower & Garden and beyond, EPCOT is known for its festivals with food booths across the countries of World Showcase that keep you wanting to come back to the park for more.

While it can be hard to stray away from the festival food booths when it always feels like there’s something new to try, we urge you not to miss out on the tried-and-true favorites. That’s why we’ve put together this list of the best EPCOT snacks that are available all year round! Let your snacking adventure around the world begin.

Best Snacks at EPCOT

1. Liege Waffle – Connections Eatery and Cafe (World Celebration)

Journey to Belgium without even entering World Showcase by indulging in the Liege Waffle at Connections Eatery and Cafe. Located at the front of the park, this is a great place to start your snacking. And if it’s early in the day, well, waffles count as breakfast, right?

This sweet Belgian waffle is made from fresh Brioche dough that gives it a light yet chewy interior. Pressed in pearl sugar, the fluffy waffle is made all the better thanks to its delightful crunch of caramelized sugar. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with a dollop of whipped cream and fresh fruit, the Liege Waffle has quickly become a reliable favorite. The subtle sweetness and unique texture make it a standout among EPCOT’s year-round snacks, proving that sometimes the simplest treats are the most satisfying.

Plus, Disney often releases specialty versions of the Liege Waffle for EPCOT festival seasons or holidays. So, be sure to keep an eye out for any variations on the menu!

2. Fish & Chips – Yorkshire County Fish Shop (United Kingdom Pavilion)

Transport your taste buds to the charming streets of the United Kingdom at EPCOT’s Yorkshire County Fish Shop. Here, the classic Fish & Chips reign supreme. A beloved blend of crispy battered fish and thick-cut fries, this iconic British dish is a must-try.

Whether you enjoy this hearty plate as a snack or a full meal, the choice is up to you. The flaky, tender fish, encased in a golden crust, perfectly complements the heaping helping of fries. With a touch of malt vinegar, you’ll feel like you’re enjoying this beloved delicacy right on the streets of London.

3. Ham & Cheese Croissant – Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (France Pavilion)

An under-rated and well-priced snack, the Ham & Cheese Croissant (listed as Croissant Jambon Fromage on the menu) at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is one of many spectacular foodie finds in the France Pavilion. This simple sandwich marries layers of buttery, flaky croissant with savory ham, melty cheese, and a velvety béchamel sauce. The croissant’s glazed and golden exterior gives way to the sandwich’s oh-so-satisfying toppings.

You might be tempted to go astray and order something else like a Croque Monsieur. But, we find the simple Ham & Cheese Croissant wins every time.

4. Ice Cream Brioche – L’Artisan des Glaces (France Pavilion)

Amidst the alleyways of the France Pavilion lies L’Artisan des Glaces, where the Ice Cream Brioche (a.k.a Croque Glacé) beckons with its warm embrace of sweetness. A scoop of luscious ice cream, adorned with your choice of sauce, is cradled within a soft pressed brioche. A match made in dessert heaven. The warm brioche creates a perfect contrast to the cold, creamy ice cream, resulting in a delightful treat that tantalizes the taste buds and transports you to the charming streets of a French village.

5. Crêpes – La Crêperie de Paris (France Pavilion)

La Crêperie de Paris in the France Pavilion gives EPCOT visitors two ways to enjoy their crêpes and galettes. You can opt for them sitting down at the table service restaurant or from their quick service window, Crêpes à Emporter. While the to-go options are more limited, they still make for the perfect midday snack.

The sweet crêpes boast a thin, delicate texture that enrobes sweet fillings like red berries or chocolate and hazelnut spread (their housemade version of Nutella). The Galettes, made from buckwheat flour, offer a savory alternative – from ham, cheese, and bechamel to a ratatouille vegetable filling. With their rich fillings and perfectly folded edges, these portable creations are an excellent rendition of the signature French dish.

6. School Bread – Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (Norway Pavilion)

Embark on a journey to the enchanting land of Norway with a visit to Kringla Bakeri Of Kafe, where the iconic School Bread awaits. A sweet roll filled with velvety vanilla custard and adorned with sweet icing and coconut shavings, this treat captures the essence of Norwegian confectionery.

Known as Skolebrød in Norway, the classic Norwegian snack is something you’d pack in a kid’s lunch box or sell at a bake sale. Each bite is a sugary blend of creamy and coconut-y texture. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth, School Bread is a beloved snack that has stood the test of time as an EPCOT fan favorite.

7. Caramel Popcorn – Karamell Kuche (Germany Pavilion)

If you love caramel or even just the scent of fresh-made popcorn, Karamell Kuche in the Germany Pavilion is a must-visit. Indulge in their irresistible Caramel Popcorn—a symphony of sweetness and crunch. Each kernel is generously coated in a rich Werther’s caramel glaze, creating a delectable treat that is both satisfying and indulgent.

The aroma of caramel wafts through the air as you enter the shop (heck, it ropes you in as you smell it from outside – you’ve officially been warned), and savoring that scent alone is sometimes all we need.

8. Gingerbread Salted Caramel Cookie Sandwich – Karamell Kuche (Germany Pavilion)

Truth be told, Karamell Kuche’s caramel treats are so addictive, that we couldn’t help but pick two snacks. The Gingerbread Salted Caramel Cookie Sandwich at Karamell Kuche started out as a seasonal treat for the holidays, but nowadays you can usually find it year-round (though, it can disappear from the menu unannounced from time to time).

We can’t overstate how perfectly executed this gingerbread cookie creation is – marrying the warm, spicy notes of gingerbread with the richness of sweet and salty caramel. Nestled between layers of moist, crackled gingerbread cookies, the luscious caramel buttercream filling adds a velvety texture to every bite. The result is a festive treat that captures the essence of the holiday season, even when it’s not. It’s truly one of our favorite bites in all of Walt Disney World.

9. Pretzel Bread Pudding – Sommerfest (Germany Pavilion)

Savor a unique twist on a classic dessert with the Pretzel Bread Pudding at Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion. This decadent creation combines the rich, salty flavor of pretzels with the comforting allure of a sweet bread pudding. Each spoonful unveils a medley of textures—soft, moist, and slightly chewy—and the best part? It’s served warm and comes drenched in caramel and vanilla sauce! That sweet, custard-soaked bread harmonizes with the pretzel’s distinctively salty notes, resulting in a sweet snack that is both familiar and innovative.

10. Baklava – Oasis Sweets & Sips (Morocco Pavilion)

Immerse yourself in the exotic flavors of Morocco by sampling the baklava and other specialty pastry options in the Morocco Pavilion. This timeless dessert, rooted in Middle Eastern culinary traditions, is a masterpiece of layers. Crispy phyllo dough embraces a lavish filling of chopped nuts, bound together with sweet honey.

Aside from the classic pistachio baklava, there are other exotic selections with similar flavor profiles. This includes almond crescent cookies, sesame koulouria (bread rings), kataifi (crispy strands of phyllo dough that almost look like a bird’s nest), and more. Choose an assortment of three, five, or seven pastries for a lower price. Each bite will transport you to the bustling markets of Marrakech!

11. Banana Pudding – Regal Eagle Smokehouse (American Adventure Pavilion)

If you’re looking for a bite of nostalgia, the Banana Pudding at Regal Eagle is it. Made to complement the smoky meats at this BBQ joint, this snack-sized dessert captures the essence of comfort, featuring layers of creamy banana pudding, classic vanilla wafers, and layers of whipped cream. The velvety pudding harmonizes with the natural sweetness of bananas, while the vanilla wafers provide a satisfying crunch. It’s a timeless American treat that many have come to love at EPCOT.

12. Guacamole – La Cava del Tequila (Mexico Pavilion)

You might not expect to find one of EPCOT’s best snacks inside of a tequila bar. But, that’s what you get at La Cava del Tequila inside the Mexico Pavilion pyramid! If you can swing a seat at this tucked-away tequila lounge, be sure to ask for a taste of their off-menu, freshly made guacamole.

Mashed ripe avocados mingle with vibrant spices like cilantro, lime, and chiles, creating a zesty and refreshing dip. Served with crisp tortilla chips, this guac makes for a refreshing stop on your trip around the world.

If you can’t get into La Cava, you can also order the same fresh guacamole from Choza de Margarita. Here it comes topped with mango and pumpkin seeds.

13. Poutine – Refreshment Port

Canada makes its culinary mark in EPCOT with the indulgent poutine at the adjacent Refreshment Port. This savory delight features French fries generously smothered in rich, savory gravy and topped with squeaky cheese curds. The result is a hearty and satisfying snack that pays homage to the beloved Canadian comfort food. Each forkful offers savory notes of gravy, the richness of cheese, and fries to sop it all up.

14. Funnel Cake – Funnel Cake Stand (American Adventure Pavilion)

As you stroll around the lake and approach the American Adventure Pavilion, the aroma of freshly made funnel cakes conjures up the magic of childhood carnivals. Crispy, sugary, and inexplicably delightful, this iconic treat is a quintessential American snack. And, its warm, golden exterior is complemented by a light and airy interior.

Every funnel cake at this stand in EPCOT is freshly fried-to-order. And, you can top it with sugar, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or vanilla ice cream. There’s also a year-round Cookies ‘n’ Cream Funnel Cake that combines the best of all those toppings, plus crushed cookies.

Whether enjoyed plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with other sweets, EPCOT’s funnel cakes are a surefire celebration of American nostalgia.

15. Japanese Shaved Ice – Kabuki Cafe (Japan Pavilion)

Since it feels like summer year-round in Florida, the Japanese shaved ice stand is an essential stop for a thirst-quenching snack as you eat and drink around the world. Shaved ice takes center stage at Kabuki Cafe, where it goes by the traditional name of Kakigōri.

Much like the snow cones we have here in the States, these are flavored with your choice of syrup, but the traditional Japanese twist involves topping it off with condensed milk. The result is a cool and delightful respite, offering a burst of sweet and tangy flavors.

As you savor the light and fluffy ice, tinged with vibrant hues, you’ll find a moment of tranquility amid the hustle and bustle of EPCOT. It’s a perfect way to cap off your international snacking adventure, leaving you refreshed and satisfied.
