Atmosphere & Theming
By day, Topolinos Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is a fun, vibrant character breakfast with a prix-fixe menu. But, come evening, Topolino’s Terrace transforms into a romantic, elegant, and slow-paced dining experience.
Dinner does require a dress code. Per Walt Disney World’s website, “Guests are expected to dress accordingly in attire that respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic. Clothing should be clean, neat and in good condition. Please no swimwear.”
Directly off the elevator, you’ll enter the waiting area and check-in. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended and can be made through the My Disney Experience App or Disney’s website.

Dark wood and floor-to-ceiling windows line the main dining room, while wine coolers and handmade pasta hang behind the glass of the waiting area. Pasta-shaped chandeliers and marble bar tops contribute to the restaurant’s elegant setting.
An outdoor rooftop terrace through the dining room lets guests lounge with a cocktail on outdoor couches under mood-setting string lights. The 360-degree views of Walt Disney World will stun you!

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera Dinner Menu
The dinner menu here has a strong Mediterranean influence and an extensive and unique wine collection from the French and Italian coasts.
Cocktail offerings include a French Rose, an Old Fashioned, and variations of different spritzes. Additionally, various beers, wines, and zero-proof cocktails are available.
The dinner menu includes appetizers inspired by both French and Italian cuisine, such as escargot and ratatouille fritters from the French side and ricotta and heirloom tomato panzanella from the Italian side. Entrees include elevated fish offerings such as branzino and sole meuniere, handmade pasta, and filet mignons.
Finally, guests can enjoy creme brulee, chocolate cakes, and tiramisu for dessert.

We ordered everything from cocktails to dessert during our dining experience; here’s what we thought!
Drinks
To start the dining experience, my husband ordered the Modern Old Fashioned for $18, while I ordered the Topolino Tramonto for $17.
The old-fashioned piqued his interest as it contained both Knob Creek Rye Whiskey and Appleton Reserve Rum, including vanilla bean and bitters. He enjoyed this cocktail. Though I did try it, it was too liquor-forward for me, as I prefer more fruity and mixed cocktails. Personal preference, I guess!
To be honest, I may or may not have ordered the Topolino Tramonto for its aesthetic (Do it for the ‘gram, right?). But I also love limoncello and Aperol cocktails, and I was interested to see how that would pair with vodka and flower tea. Overall, though it has a lot going on, it was super refreshing! It was more like a vodka spritz than anything else, which I enjoyed.

Eats
All meals start with a complimentary bread service. Crusty breadsticks are served with salted butter and high-quality Italian olive oil. The breadsticks were crunchy on the outside while perfectly soft on the inside. One of my biggest complaints with bread services anywhere, not just at Disney World, is that the butter that comes with it is too hard to spread. Luckily, this was not the case! The butter was soft enough to spread without being warm, and the salt on top of it was the perfect touch.

Appetizers
For our appetizers, we ordered the Pork Belly Fazzoletto for $19 and the Braised Lamb Gnocchi for $18. I enjoy pork belly, while my husband could take it or leave it. Our server recommended that we order it, and we were so glad we did! The pork was tender and flavorful, and the handmade pasta sheet on top, paired with the miso-marsala glaze, perfectly balanced the dish.

As for the gnocchi, they were like pillows and melted in your mouth with every bite. The braised lamb with the thick jus paired well with the mushrooms and gnocchi, though this dish could be considered pretty heavy if eaten by only one person.

Entrees
For our entrees, my husband ordered the Filet Mignon for $59, while I ordered the Chicken Rigatoni for $40. You’ll never see me pass up a handmade pasta! Our server did recommend the sea scallops, and though they sounded delicious, my mind was made up. Additionally, our son ordered the children’s Rigatoni with Tomato Sauce, which came with two sides for $11.50.
The Filet Mignon was topped with a bordelaise sauce and paired with broccolini and a truffle potato puree. The potato puree was smooth yet heavy on the truffle, which was great for us because we love truffles. The filet was perfectly cooked to the medium rare we ordered and was so tender you barely needed the knife. Though the steak was cooked so well you didn’t really need the bordelaise sauce, it was the perfect pairing for the steak and broccolini.

The Rigatoni was tossed with braised chicken sugo, broccolini, wild mushrooms, pancetta, and black truffle. The pasta was clearly handcrafted, and the chicken and vegetables throughout the dish paired well with every bite. This dish was rich but worth the indulgence. Rigatoni was the perfect pasta type for the sugo, as it stuck well to the pasta, securing balanced flavors all around.

Dessert
To finish off our meal, despite how full we were, we ordered the Vanilla and Citrus Crème Brûlée to share for $14. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert, so of course, my sweet tooth couldn’t resist. As with the rest of the meal, the creme brulee was fantastic. It was a light, cold finish to a heavy, filling meal.

The sugar beignets it was paired with were eaten by my toddler and seemed well enjoyed, even though a scoop of gelato had already come with his meal. Hello, sugar rush! Although I could have done without the strawberry foam flavor-wise, as it didn’t really add anything to the dish’s flavor, I can see why they added it to the plate’s aesthetic – it was beautiful!
Overall Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera Review
So, did we think Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera dinner was as good as its highly sought-after breakfast? YES! In fact, I would give dinner the upper hand between the two.
While they are both excellent in their own right, the dinner felt intimate and personalized, and the setting made the food feel more elevated and handcrafted than breakfast. Everything we ate was of high quality and delicious, and we couldn’t find anything wrong with our meal from start to finish.
This is a place that I consider a once-in-a-while dinner, solely due to the price. Topolino’s is perfect for a date night, anniversary, birthday dinner, or adult night out!
We did bring our three-year-old with us, and my advice for families considering bringing young children is that you know your child best. This restaurant (for dinner) is upscale and quiet and prides itself on food quality, which means that courses are slower to come out. We spent almost two hours enjoying our meal from start to finish.
Our dinner cost roughly $200 after our annual passholder discount, and it was worth every penny. If it were up to me, I would go on every trip!
