What To Do at EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

Eating and drinking your way around World Showcase isn’t the only thing you can do at the Food and Wine Festival! The festival also features a wide variety of activities that are sure to keep you busy from park opening to close!

Here is the full list of all the limited-time activities that are available during the 2024 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival:

Emile’s Fromage Montage

The popular cheese stroll is back again for the Food and Wine Festival! Disney has confirmed that Emile’s Fromage Montage will return for the 2024 festival which includes purchasing five food items from 9 pre-selected Global Marketplaces located around the park to receive an extra free treat at the end.

To complete Emile’s Fromage Montage challenge, you’ll need to pick up a Festival Passport (which can be found at the front of the park, at merchandise locations, and at any of the Global Marketplaces) and purchase five of the listed cheesy dishes. With each purchase, a Cast Member will stamp your Festival Passport as proof of your purchase. Once you’ve received at least five stamps, you can take your Festival Passport to the Shimmering Sips Marketplace hosted by CORKCICLE booth to get a free treat.

Here are the 2024 Emile’s Fromage Montage locations and menu items:

  • The Alps Marketplace: Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with alpine ham, baby potatoes, cornichons, and baguette; OR the Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with baby potatoes, cornichons, and baguette
  • Brazil Marketplace: Pão de Queijo
  • Festival Favorites: BBQ Pork Rinds

While there are a total of 13 pre-selected dishes that qualify for Emile’s Fromage Montage, you don’t have to purchase each one to complete the challenge. If some of the dishes don’t appeal to you, you can opt to purchase multiple of the same dish and earn a stamp for each purchase. In fact, you could even buy five of the same dish and still get the free treat at the end.

It’s also important to note that you do not have to collect all your stamps on the same day – you can choose to come back to the festival multiple times to complete the cheese stroll. Just be sure that you bring the same festival Festival Passport back with you each time to keep track of all your stamps!

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Scavenger Hunts

In 2024, the Food and Wine Festival will feature TWO scavenger hunts that take guests around World Showcase to win a prize including Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is offered throughout the entirety of the festival and takes you on a hunt around World Showcase to find small Remy statuettes hiding in each country pavilion. When you spot him, all you need to do is match stickers on a map to what ingredients he’s posing with.

However, if you want a more fall-themed scavenger hunt, Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is just that! You’ll need to spot Disney character-themed pumpkins in each World Showcase pavilion and match the sticker to the correct country on the provided map. Just note that this scavenger hunt is only available through November 1st, 2024 since it is Halloween-themed.

To participate in the scavenger hunts, you can purchase the game map from participating locations in EPCOT for $9.99 (plus tax). Then, when you complete the hunt, you’ll need to return to Disney Traders, Creations Shop, Port of Entry, or World Traveler to receive your prize.

Is EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Worth It?

So, should you visit the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival in 2024? Probably! EPCOT festivals have become fan-favorite events, with crowds flocking to the parks to try out all the eats and drinks and festival offerings. And, the Food and Wine Festival is no different! In fact, it’s perhaps the most iconic festival of all four offered throughout the year.

The great thing about the Food and Wine Festival is that it’s a free addition to your park day in EPCOT. So, you get to enjoy all the rides, World Showcase pavilions, and shows, PLUS all the festival offerings without having to pay extra (though you do have to pay to try any of the food or drink at the Global Marketplaces). In fact, you’ll likely find that you enjoy EPCOT even more when you visit during the fall festival because of the diverse theming, delicious eats, and extra activities to keep you busy!
