Disney Believe Cruise Ship Guide: Everything We Know So Far

It’s hard to believe Disney Cruise Line is expanding so rapidly that we are already getting the fourth (and final) Wish-Class ship! Disney Believe will sail her maiden voyage December 18th, 2027, and bookings open to the general public starting October 19, 2026. As the eighth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, Disney Believe is inspired by a world of promises and possibilities.

Disney has finally released its first wave of information about what will be featured on Disney Believe. Follow along in this guide as we break down everything we know so far about Disney Believe, from the Moana Grand Hall to Snow White’s Wishing Well. Will you be booking Disney Believe for your family’s 2028 Disney vacation? Let’s find out!

Disney Believe at a Glance

Disney Believe will be offering 4- and 5-night sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Port Everglades beginning December 18, 2027. The ship is a 144K GT vessel and the fourth Wish-Class ship following Disney Wish (July 2022), Disney Treasure (December 2024), and Disney Destiny (November 2025).

The theme of Disney Believe is promises and possibilities, bringing all-new stories to the high seas like never before. Guests will embark on a journey inspired by characters who believed in themselves and their dreams, as they explore new horizons at sea.

The ship features dedicated kids’ clubs for every age group, family-friendly and adults-only dining, immersively themed bars, some of the most spacious staterooms at sea, and plenty of entertainment, activities, and unique experiences.

Now, let’s dive into all the details that make Disney Believe special!

Itineraries

Disney Believe will be sailing four- and five-night cruise itineraries to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Depending on what voyage you book, it could include stops at Nassau, Bahamas or Cozumel, Mexico. And, at least one (or both) of Disney’s private islands, Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The first voyage will set sail on December 18, 2027, while the inaugural season will last through May 2028.

Theming

Disney Believe is centered on hope, promises, possibilities, and what lies beyond the horizon. Spaces and entertainment will be inspired by beloved stories and fan-favorite movies such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, Encanto, Frozen, and more.

And for the first time ever, a character other than Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse will be featured on the bow filigree. Tinker Bell takes center stage in the filigree artwork, surrounded by Peter Pan, Wendy, Michael, and Captain Hook. What’s more “believe”-themed than faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust?!

Also for the first time ever, Pixar characters are taking over the stern. Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody are making their mark on Disney Believe – literally. The characters will be shown holding large yellow crayons, drawing the name on the back of the ship. Even further, Disney has ditched the classic Disney Cruise Line font for the fun and playful Toy Story block font.

The Grand Hall

The sky meets the sea in Disney Believe’s Grand Hall. Across the fleet, Disney’s central atriums are some of the most decadent spaces at sea. This central gathering space will feature a Moana sculpture along with her trusted sidekicks, Pua and HeiHei. The space’s design, colors, and architecture will draw inspiration from the Pacific Islands, including oceanic hues and a chandelier inspired by ocean waves and the Heart of Te Fiti.

Disney Believe Cruise Ship Staterooms

Disney Believe will feature 1,254 staterooms across four categories – Inside Staterooms, Oceanview Staterooms, Verandah Staterooms, and Concierge Staterooms. While each room type differs in size and amenities, each includes:

  • 100% cotton linens and premium bath towels
  • 43” flat screen TV with Disney on Demand and live channels
  • Full-length mirror
  • USB and USB-C ports

  • Hair dryer
  • Control of your own AC
  • Bath and shower products
  • Beds on elevated frames to store luggage underneath

Theming will vary room-to-room, though artwork will be inspired by characters that “embody the idea of boundless possibilities; guests’ dreams will be emboldened with tales of imagination, courage and finding one’s voice”, including Moana, Coco, The Lion King, Zootopia, and Inside Out.

Inside staterooms have a standard single-room bathroom, while all other stateroom categories feature the popular Disney Cruise Line split baths. These rooms consist of a shower/tub combo and a sink on one side, and a toilet and a sink on the other side.

The table below compares the three main stateroom categories: Inside Staterooms, Oceanview Staterooms, and Verandah Staterooms.

Disney Believe Cruise Ship Dining

Rotational Family Dining

Disney cruises are known for their rotational dining experience. The ship will feature three dining rooms that you rotate through during your voyage, visiting each at least once. Each night you’ll sit at the same table number, with the same people, and your dining staff will rotate with you. Each restaurant features a unique menu that complements its theming.

NEW! Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast

Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast will be a brand-new, untold chapter in the “Frozen” story, featuring favorite characters like Oaken, Anna and Kristoff. This live entertainment, theatre-style dining experience will be completely different than “Arendelle: A Frozen Adventure” featured on Disney Wish.

Instead, Oaken’s Table will be set in a sommerhuscourtyard deep in the forest where Oaken invites guests to have dinner with his cousins, who will play reimagined tunes from the popular Frozen soundtracks.

Menus and cuisine style for the restaurant have not been announced yet – check back for updates!

Disney Treasure cruise ship

Worlds of Marvel

Worlds of Marvel debuted on Disney Wish, and this immersive Marvel dining adventure is back for a fourth time on Disney Believe for “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix.” Throughout your meal, you’ll follow Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy as he plans a surprise party for Rocket while dining with an “awesome mix” of music.

1923

Named after the founding year of Walt Disney Animation Studios, 1923 is a fine-dining restaurant that showcases the history of Disney Animation. 1923 is featured on all four Wish-Class ships, and Disney Believe is no different! The upscale Hollywood theming of the restaurant surrounds guests with modern and classic Disney animated sketches, storyboards, and props from the Walt Disney Archives, highlighting stories including Lilo and Stitch, Toy Story, Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland.

Adult-Only Dining

The Rose

The Rose is back as the only lounge across all four Wish-Class ships that is adults-only 24/7, as other bars and lounges welcome minors during the day and into the early evening. It is located at the entrance of both specialty restaurants, making it the perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail.

Disney Cruise for Adults

Palo Steakhouse

Palo Steakhouse is the Wish-Class take on the iconic Palo restaurant aboard all Disney Cruise Line ships. The design of the space is inspired by Cogsworth from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, bringing elegance to the adults-only restaurant. Palo will be open for brunch and dinner, featuring both Italian and modern steakhouse dishes.

Enchanté

Enchanté is the newest adult-only restaurant in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, debuting on Disney Wish and will now be available on all four of the Disney Wish-class ships. The theming is inspired by Lumière from The Beauty and the Beast and will feature a gourmet French-inspired menu created by three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement.

Casual Dining

Marceline Market

For fast dining, Marceline Market is where you’ll head for breakfast and lunch on Disney Believe. This indoor buffet will include multiple food stations with a wide variety of options to please even the pickiest eaters, along with signature items found only on Disney Cruise Line, such as Mickey churro waffles and a daily seafood spread featuring crab claws, crab legs, and shrimp.

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods

If you prefer to dine outside on the pool deck, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods is your best option. And, Disney Believe’s lineup grows to SIX character-inspired stations, including one new additional food stall!

Mickey’s Smokestack Barbeque – offering pulled pork, brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, and more.

Daisy’s Pizza Pies – offering cheese, pepperoni, and a specialty pizza each day.

Goofy’s Grill – offering hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, french fries, and more.

Donald’s Cantina – offering tacos, burritos, and rice bowls with fillings such as chicken, carnitas, beef, guacamole, and more.

Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream – offering soft-serve cups or cones of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, plus a rotating flavor each day.

(NEW!) Pluto’s Pita Platters – offering Mediterranean-style cuisine including kebabs, pitas, and dips.

Mickey’s Festival of Foods is typically open from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with one location (usually Goofy’s Grill or Daisy’s Pizza Pies) staying open later. Some of our favorites include Donald’s Cantina and Mickey’s Smokestack Barbeque, but we are excited to see where Pluto’s Pita Platters will rank!

Cafes and Sweet Shops

Whether it’s caffeine or a sweet treat that you’re craving, there are several places to get your fix on Disney Believe if the complimentary options aren’t cutting it for you! These locations are not included in your cruise fare and will be an additional charge.

Big Hero Sips

Inspired by San Fransokyo from Disney’s Big Hero 6, guests can expect a delicious array of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages at Big Hero Sips. You’ll want to spend time in this warm and inviting coffee shop – and don’t forget your punch card!

Café Kakamora

Inspired by Disney’s Moana, this cafe will also offer a delicious array of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. Named after Moana’s coconut-creature friend and foes, the coffee shop will bring the island of Montunui to Disney Believe.

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets

Making its return on Disney Believe is Inside Out: Joyful Sweets. First debuting on Disney Wish, the sweet shop will be reimagined to feature characters from Pixar’s Inside Out 2, including Joy, Sadness, Envy, and Anxiety. Visitors will feel all the emotions after indulging in a reimagined menu of treats, including nearly 20 gelato and ice cream flavors, daily specials, and a colorful lineup of signature sweets.

Disney Believe Cruise Ship Bars and Lounges

There will be plenty of options where guests can enjoy a beer or cocktail throughout Disney Believe. Bars and Lounges onboard include a mix of adults-only locations, family-friendly locations, and spots that are family-friendly during the day but become adults-only at night. These bars and lounges will also host a variety of entertainment offerings, such as trivia and drawing classes.

Sea Notes

Guests will venture beneath the sea into an iridescent piano lounge called Sea Notes. Inspired by The Little Mermaid, the centerpiece is an elegant pearlescent piano, one of the forgotten treasures from Ariel’s secret grotto. Guests can sip on dreamy cocktails while listening to nostalgic memories in this chic yet contemporary adults-only piano bar.

Wishing Well

Wishing Well will be the central gathering space for all ages inspired by Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Guests will be invited into an enchanting castle courtyard under a canopy of white blossoms and red apples; furniture will be draped in the bold colors of Snow White’s gown, and hand-carved wooden framing on the stage will nod to the Seven Dwarfs’ cottage. The bar will feature a beautiful stained glass art piece evoking a gothic castle.

Wishing Well will host a variety of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a menu comprised of unique cocktails, mocktails, coffees, and spirits.

Skygazers

Time will stand still in Skygazers – the sports pub onboard Disney Believe! Inside the observatory-themed pub, dreamers and wish makers will gather under a story-filled sky. The astronomer’s laboratory will house bookshelves, celestial maps, instruments, and props from classic Disney stories. Guests can sip craft brews and indulge in pub-inspired bites (both at an additional cost) while watching live sports broadcasts.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor

Returning for the third time on a Wish-Class ship is The Haunted Mansion Parlor. The parlor can be found on Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, and now on Disney Believe! The space features humor mixed with Disney’s “spooky storytelling,” bringing the famous Disney Parks attraction to life.

And, foolish mortals can look forward to sipping on an all-new menu of spirited craft cocktails and mocktails developed exclusively for Disney Believe.

Gazelle

Gazelle is a two-story entertainment venue inspired by the bustling metropolis of Disney’s Zootopia. By day, family activities will be held here, including crafts, learn-to-draw sessions, trivia, Bingo, and game shows. At night, adult-only entertainment will be held here, including silent discos and variety acts.

Some of the evening events in Gazelle will include Villains Game Night, Majority Minds, Match Your Mate, and, for the first time on Disney Cruise Line, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia will host a family game show asking guests to help solve their latest case!

Disney Believe Cruise Ship Onboard Activities

There’s so much to do on board Disney Believe that you’ll never have trouble finding something to keep you busy. From relaxing spas to brand-new Broadway-style theater shows, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy throughout your voyage.

Pool Activities

Just like the three previous Wish-Class ships, Disney Believe will feature eight pools in total, a Toy Story-themed splash pad and a small body slide, and a 760-foot-long water attraction — The AquaMouse.

The AquaMouse can be found on all of the Wish-class ships, but each one tells a different story. Disney Believe will not feature an original story, instead taking “Swiss Meltdown” from Disney Wish and “Sing a Silly Song” from Disney Destiny. As you make your way through the ups and downs of the water ride, Mickey and Minnie will lead you to the peak of the mountain before traveling through the aquacoaster.

Additional returning spaces include Toy Story Splash Zone, the nearby Slide-a-Saurus Rex waterslide, and Trixie’s Falls for the little ones. Plus, adults 18 and up can enjoy a space just for them in the Quiet Cove, with a pool, bar, coffee shop, and upgraded lounge furniture.

Broadway Style Theater Shows

The Walt Disney Theatre is home to nightly live entertainment, featuring Broadway-style adaptations of some of your favorite Disney movies. Each evening will offer a different featured performance.

Disney Seas the Adventure is back on Disney Believe (an original Disney Cruise Line musical production featuring Disney and Pixar characters), as well as Tangled: The Musical, reimagined with a new set design and special effects exclusively for the ship.

Disney Believe will also be home to a brand-new musical adaptation, Disney Encanto, in The Walt Disney Theatre. The show will follow Mirabel on a quest to save loved ones and their casita. Inspired by diverse Colombian culture, the show will feature bright colors, traditional dance styles, and, of course, will include Disney Legend Lin-Manuel Miranda’s popular hits from the movie like “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.”

Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party

Disney Cruise Line’s signature Pirate Night is once again rocking the high seas on Disney Believe. It features a full line-up of nighttime entertainment on the top decks and fireworks at sea. The Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party features Captain Redd (and maybe even an appearance from Captain Jack Sparrow himself) with her rock band of buccaneers.

Senses Spa

Whether you’re keeping up with your workout routine or you need a place to truly relax, guests can expect both at Senses Spa. Traditional spa treatments are offered, along with the famous thermal suite, the Rainforest Room. The area features heated tile loungers, an aromatherapy steam room, dry sauna, ice room, and whirlpools and lounge furniture on the outdoor deck.

Further, Senses fitness gym features state-of-the-art equipment, and Hooks Barbery and UnTangled Salon will offer haircuts, shaves, manicures, and pedicures.

Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas

Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas can view complimentary showings of classic and first-run films from Disney Animation, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel, and more. Being able to experience a brand-new Disney film without heading to the movie theater is one of the coolest parts of Disney Cruise Line!

Additionally, Funnel Vision on the pool deck plays classic Disney films throughout the sailing.

Disney Uncharted Adventure

The recurring Wish-Class ship virtual game is back on Disney Believe! Disney Uncharted Adventure is playable through the Disney Navigator app and sends guests on multiple different adventures around the ship to unlock hidden quests.

Hero Zone

Deck 13 is home to the Hero Zone where families can find a full-sized basketball court and a giant Incredibles-themed obstacle course, the Incredi-Games. You’ll find air hockey, table tennis, foosball, and cornhole available free of charge.

Activities in Hero Zone will vary day to day based on itinerary and special events happening.

Disney Believe Cruise Ship Kids’ Clubs

Whether you’re traveling with infants, toddlers, children, tweens, or teens, Disney Believe has a dedicated space for them! Although these spaces are typically only for kids, there are times when adults can join the fun too.

“it’s a small world” Nursery

“it’s a small world” Nursery is the babysitting service onboard Disney Believe for ages 6 months to 3 years. Inside, the littlest sailors can enjoy games, crafts, movies, books, and visits from Disney friends, all led by Disney’s fabulous, trained counselors. There are even multiple cribs where babies can sleep while the parents play!

The nursery is the only kids’ space that isn’t free onboard, and reservations are required. Currently, across the DCL fleet, the cost is $10 per hour, so we’d expect it to remain the same, barring any price increases between now and the maiden voyage. The nursery can be booked during your online booking window; however, walk-up reservations are usually available, depending on how full the ship is.

Disney’s Oceaneer Club

Kids ages 3 to 10 are welcome inside Disney’s Oceaneer Club. And, new to Disney Believe, the Oceaneer Club entrance will be taken over by Mike Wazowski and his laugh canister inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc! You’ll even find the iconic caution tape labeled “Caution: 2319.”

This signature Disney Cruise Line space features multiple themed rooms for kids to enjoy, including Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain’s Deck.

The space features games, crafts, character interactions, hands-on activities, and more throughout the day, led by Disney’s trained counselors.

Reservations are not needed for Disney’s Oceaneer Club, and kids can come and go as much as they please. Additionally, there is no cost for Disney’s Oceaneer Club. Just note that children must be fully independent and potty trained to attend, and must be checked in and out by a parent.

Edge

Edge is a space dedicated to tweens ages 11 to 13, themed after a New York City loft hangout. It features TVs, video games, board games, movies, trivia, and lots of scheduled activities throughout the day to keep your kids busy.

Vibe

Vibe is for the “big” kids, ages 14 to 17, and features Parisian-style loft spaces to hang out in, along with scheduled activities such as karaoke and dance parties. The Hideaway will also serve as a hip hangout for older kids, featuring a dance floor and a DJ booth.

Final Thoughts on Disney Believe (So Far)

Disney Cruise Line has a way of delivering exquisite spaces and immaculate theming, and Disney Believe is no different! With recurring spaces returning as well as brand-new lounges, shows, and designs, guests have plenty to look forward to on Disney Believe.

Although we did get a lot of information in the most recent Disney Believe press reveal, there is still plenty we don’t know! What will Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast menu and show offer? Will The Haunted Mansion Parlor get the rumored holiday overlay? What characters will be available for meet-and-greets? Will there be additional entertainment offerings?

Don’t worry, here at Eat Sleep Disney we have you covered. As soon as we know, you’ll know!
