10 Best Snacks at Magic Kingdom

There are some awesome quick service and sit-down restaurants in Magic Kingdom. But when hunger strikes while you’re headed to your next ride and short on time, there are plenty of snacks to hold you over. But, not all snacks are created equally – especially in this theme park! From classic treats to savory bites, we’ve got the TOP 10 best snacks at Magic Kingdom so you don’t waste your time snacking on things like Mickey Pretzels and popcorn (though, we love those too!).

Dole Whip

Dole Whip is one of the best snacks at Magic Kingdom because…well…it’s one of the only places you can get it! This dairy-free soft serve comes in various flavors, with pineapple being the most classic choice.

You’ll find Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. The traditional cup is a great option, but don’t overlook the Dole Whip Floats and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. One of our favorites is the Tropical Serenade, which is a specialty float that combines pineapple-orange-guava juice (a.k.a. POG juice), coconut soft-serve, and is topped with an upside-down pineapple cake pop. This one is definitely big enough to share, but – just a warning – you may not want to!

Best Snacks at Magic Kingdom

Cheshire Cat Tail

The Cheshire Cat Tail is a twisted pastry filled with chocolate chips and topped with pink and purple icing swirls. You’ll find this not-overly-sweet treat at Cheshire Cafe in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland near the Mad Tea Party attraction.

The snack resembles its namesake from Alice in Wonderland. And, it’s this fun and unique appearance that makes it a popular choice for those seeking Instagram-worthy Disney treats. The pastry itself is similar to a chocolate Danish twist. Its flaky texture pairs well with the sweet chocolate chips inside. And, the colorful icing adds both visual appeal and extra sweetness to each bite.

The Cheshire Cat Tail’s popularity means it’s usually available, but it’s best to grab one early in your day to ensure you don’t miss out. And, if you don’t happen to see it on the menu at Cheshire Cafe, try Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe – sometimes it pops up there too!

Spring Rolls

Tucked away near the bridge to Adventureland, you’ll find the very popular (but also very underrated) Spring Roll Cart. And, it’s not just any kind of spring roll that you can try here – the flavors are much more unique!

The cart typically offers two flavors at a time. Pepperoni and Cheeseburger are the classics and are frequently available and beloved by many guests. But, sometimes you’ll find other options like Buffalo Chicken, Bacon Mac and Cheese, and more.

Pricing is reasonable at $9.50 for two rolls of your choice. So, you can choose two of the same flavors or mix and match to try different options. Each spring roll order also comes with a complementary dipping sauce.

Keep in mind that the Spring Roll Cart often draws a line due to its popularity. Consider visiting during off-peak hours to minimize your wait time.

Warm Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzels

Another one of the best snacks at Magic Kingdom that’s both savory and delicious is the Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzel. It combines the comfort of a soft pretzel with a generous amount of creamy, tangy, cream cheese filling (don’t knock it till you try it!). This snack is perfect for sharing or enjoying solo. It’s substantial enough to tide you over between meals but not so heavy that it’ll ruin your appetite for other Magic Kingdom eats and drinks.

You can order it from The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland. For the best experience, eat your pretzel while it’s still warm. The contrast between the soft dough and gooey filling is most pronounced when fresh. And, remember to grab some napkins – the filling can be a bit messy, but that’s part of the fun!

Specialty Mickey Waffles

Mickey waffles are a beloved Disney World treat, and Sleepy Hollow offers some unique variations.

The standout option is the Mickey Waffle with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, Bananas, Berries, and Whipped Cream. It features a golden Mickey-shaped waffle topped with a generous drizzle of chocolate hazelnut spread (similar to Nutella), strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. Plus, two heaps of whipped cream in Mickey’s ears add even more sweetness.

For a savory twist, try the Mickey Waffle with Sweet-and-Spicy Maple Chicken. This creation combines a crispy chicken breast with honey-sriracha sauce on a Mickey waffle. The blend of sweet and spicy flavors makes it a fan favorite.

Both options are substantial enough to serve as a light meal or hearty snack. Prices typically range from $10-$15, depending on the variety you choose.

Keep in mind that menu items can change, so it’s worth checking current offerings when you visit. Sleepy Hollow often introduces seasonal specialties, giving you new Mickey waffles to try.

Candied Bacon Skewer

The Candied Bacon Skewer is a standout snack from Westward Ho in Frontierland that’s hard to miss (but often is!). What makes it special? Well, it’s not just any bacon – it’s a huge, thick piece coated in brown sugar. The result is a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors.

It comes with a side of potato chips, making it more substantial than your average park treat. And, priced at $9.99, this snack offers great value. For bacon lovers, this is a must-try. Even if you’re not usually a fan, the unique candied preparation might win you over.

Keep in mind that this snack hasn’t always been available. It returned in 2024 after being absent since 2018, so don’t miss your chance to try it.

Creamy Bacon Macaroni and Cheese Tots

Found at Friar’s Nook in Magic Kingdom, this hearty snack is a combination of creamy macaroni and cheese topped with crispy tater tots, bacon bits, and a dollop of sour cream. And, it’s big enough that it could even serve as a quick meal or a shared snack if you’d prefer!

The mac and cheese base is rich and velvety, while the tots add a delightful crunch. Bacon lovers will also appreciate the smoky flavor it brings to the dish. And, the sour cream adds a tangy contrast to the savory elements.

Priced at $11.49, it’s a bit more expensive than some other snacks. However, the portion size and filling nature make it a good value for many guests. Just keep in mind that Friar’s Nook typically closes in the early evening. So, plan to grab this snack for lunch or an afternoon pick-me-up.

Character Cones

Character Cones have become well known as one of the best snacks at Magic Kingdom because they’re both fun and delicious! Found at Storybook Treats, these ice cream cones are themed after beloved Disney characters, making them as fun to look at as they are to eat. Each one is themed to a specific Disney character with the colors of the ice cream, the color of the ice cream cone, and edible decorations. Past character cones have been inspired by Rapunzel, the Seven Dwarfs, Hades, and more.

The flavors and designs change periodically, so you might find different options during your visit. Keep an eye out for seasonal offerings too, as Disney often introduces special cones for holidays.

Warm Cinnamon Roll

Gaston’s Tavern offers one of Magic Kingdom’s most beloved treats – the Warm Cinnamon Roll. This massive, gooey pastry is a must-try for any park visitor with a sweet tooth.

Priced at $6.99, the cinnamon roll is generously sized and perfect for sharing. Its doughy texture is complemented by swirls of cinnamon sugar throughout, creating what some regard as the perfect cinnamon roll. The top of the roll is drizzled with a sweet icing, adding an extra layer of indulgence.

For an even better cinnamon roll, we recommend requesting additional icing on the side. This allows you to customize the sweetness level to your liking, especially if you like it very, very sweet.

While the cinnamon roll is delicious on its own, you might consider pairing it with a hot beverage for a comforting snack or a more filling breakfast during your park day. Remember to grab some napkins – this sticky treat can be wonderfully messy!

LeFou’s Brew

LeFou’s Brew is inspired by the character LeFou from Beauty and the Beast and has become a Magic Kingdom staple thanks to its unique flavors and theming.

The base of this beverage is frozen apple juice, giving it a crisp and fruity taste. A hint of toasted marshmallow flavor adds a subtle sweetness to the drink that is sure to make your kiddos happy. And, to top it off, LeFou’s Brew features a layer of all-natural passion fruit-mango foam providing a nice contrast to the apple base.

You can find this refreshing signature drink at Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland. It even comes in a souvenir mug that you can take home! And, add a cupcake to your order to try “the grey stuff” (it’s delicious)!
