November in Disney World [2025]: Crowds, Closures, Discounts, and More

November in Disney World is one of the BEST times to visit. Why? Because the holiday season is in full swing and there are so many special things to see and do to celebrate! But, getting to experience “snoap” (Disney’s version of snow) on Main Street, U.S.A. comes at a price. Whether you’re planning your first visit or your fiftieth, here’s everything you need to know about crowds, weather, pricing, and what’s new for November 2025 in Disney World!

Disney World Events in November

November marks the official start of the holiday season at Disney World, and that means there’s a lot happening across the parks and resorts. Practically overnight, the pumpkins and fall garlands disappear, replaced with twinkling lights, larger-than-life Christmas trees, and festive décor in every corner—from Main Street, U.S.A. to the hotels and Disney Springs. It’s one of the most magical times of year to visit, with special holiday events taking over all four theme parks and beyond.

Just keep in mind that some of the biggest seasonal celebrations, including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios require a separate event ticket in addition to regular park admission.

November in Disney World Crowds

November is one of the busiest times of the year at Disney World, thanks to all of the holiday celebrations and school breaks. Early in the month, you’ll already see heavier crowds as people visit to experience the Christmas decorations and special events, and things only build from there. Thanksgiving week, in particular, is one of the most crowded times of the entire year. So expect long lines, packed parks, and fully booked dining reservations. If you’re visiting this month, it’s best to embrace the festive chaos, plan ahead, and pack your patience, because there’s really no avoiding the crowds in November.

Should You Purchase Lightning Lane Services?

With the heavy crowds that come with November, this is one of those months where Disney’s Lightning Lane services can be worth the cost. If your trip is on the shorter side and you want to hit as many attractions as possible, purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Passes can make a big difference in how much you accomplish each day. On the other hand, if you’re visiting for a longer stretch and don’t mind waiting in lines, you can usually experience most of what you want without paying extra – just be ready for longer waits.

Keep in mind that Lightning Lane availability is limited, and during peak holiday weeks (especially Thanksgiving week), the most popular rides can sell out early. Make sure you’re ready to book as soon as your early booking window opens so you don’t miss your chance at skipping the longest lines in Disney World.

Disney World Weather in November

November brings some of the most comfortable weather of the year to Central Florida with warm, sunny days and cooler, more pleasant evenings. Average daytime highs hover around the mid-70s to low 80s, while nighttime lows can dip into the 60s (and occasionally the 50s). Humidity is much lower than the summer months, and hurricane season is winding down, so rain is much less frequent (though a quick afternoon shower is never completely off the table).

When packing, think layers. Be sure to still pack lightweight clothes for the daytime, but bring a light jacket, sweatshirt, or long pants for the mornings and evenings. You’ll also want comfortable walking shoes and a small rain jacket or poncho just in case Florida decides to surprise you.

Disney World Water Parks in November

If you’re hoping to visit Disney’s water parks during your November visit, keep in mind that Blizzard Beach is closed for its annual refurbishment this time of year. This means that Typhoon Lagoon is the only water park open, and while the weather in November is usually warm enough to enjoy a water day, it’s always good to keep an eye on the forecast. If temperatures dip too low, Disney may close Typhoon Lagoon for the day, but that’s pretty rare for November. As long as the sun’s out, it’s still a great month to enjoy the park’s tropical vibes and smaller crowds.

And, don’t forget that you can enter both water parks for FREE on the day you check-in if you’re staying at a Disney World Resort hotel!

What’s New at Disney World In November

There’s a lot of new things to do around Disney World this November! The biggest thing to look forward to is the opening of the brand new attraction, Zootopia: Better Zoogether at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This 4D show is replacing It’s Tough To Be A Bug in the Tree of Life Theater and will feature immersive scenes from the movie’s iconic districts and appearances from fan-favorite characters like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.

Later in the month, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays kicks off with plenty of fresh things to discover including new food booths, seasonal bites, festive drinks, and a lineup of celebrity narrators for the popular Candlelight Processional.

And for those attending the separately ticketed holiday parties, both Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights are rolling out new entertainment, treats, and surprises for 2025. You can check out the full list of returning favorites and new additions in this year’s event guides.
