Next to Watch: Disney Resort Rules They Are FINALLY Enforcing: https://youtu.be/4qiwlgwSOos

Every year a fresh wave of "Disney World just banned this" headlines makes the rounds, and most of it is exaggerated or flat-out wrong. The truth for 2026 is simpler: almost nothing new is banned in the parks — what changed is enforcement. Security is stricter, and for the first time they're measuring bags, strollers, and coolers right at the entrance. This is your complete, no-nonsense guide to what Disney World confiscates, what's always been off-limits, and the family-friendly swaps that keep your day moving.

👕 Dress Code & Costumes
The dress code headlines are the biggest source of confusion. The park standard hasn't changed — it's still family-friendly — but enforcement is tighter on offensive imagery, visible tattoos, and bulky layered clothing. Guests 14 and up can't wear costumes or masks (Disneybounding is the workaround), and Signature dining spots like Monsieur Paul, Takumi-Tei, and Victoria & Albert's enforce their own stepped-up dress requirements.

🧳 Bags, Coolers & Strollers
This is where 2026 bites. Bags must stay under 24" x 15" x 18", coolers included, and security will measure if yours looks oversized. Strollers are capped at 31" wide and 52" long — measured at the widest points, add-ons included — and stroller wagons are prohibited entirely, pushed or pulled, no matter the size.

🎥 Cameras & Recording Gear
No, Disney didn't ban vloggers. Filming on your phone is fine; the line is drawn at professional rigs, large external mics, and selfie sticks (banned since 2015). Smart glasses and body mounts are allowed to wear but count as loose articles on rides. Commercial filming without approval is the real rule underneath all the noise.

🚫 What's Always Been Banned
Weapons, pocket knives, pepper spray, and mace. Realistic toy weapons and bubble guns (lightsabers and toy wands are fine). Fireworks, smoke devices, and noisemakers. Marijuana and edibles, even where legal. Glass containers, loose ice, and dry ice. Outside alcohol and disguised "rum runner" flasks. Folding and stadium chairs. Drones, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, and wheeled shoes.

🎒 What To Pack Instead
Soft-sided coolers with reusable gel packs, reusable water bottles for the free refill stations, a lightweight blanket instead of a chair, and any over-the-counter medication in its original packaging. Pack smart and compact and you'll walk right through security instead of getting pulled for a hand check.

Know the rules, pack the swaps, and spend your day in the parks instead of at the bag-check table.
